#2289 – WWII Heer Soldier Outdoor Winter Portrait — RPPC

Original silver-gelatin real photo postcard with scalloped edges, approximately 9 × 13.5 cm. Full-length outdoor portrait of a Heer enlisted man in double-breasted winter Mantel and side cap, standing before a rural/alpine backdrop (house, fence, hills). Belt buckle visible. Reverse with postcard layout, oval “Echte Photographie” mark and printer code “L7 65453”; otherwise unmarked. Condition: good/very good—light handling and toning, a small crescent-shaped emulsion rub near the top of the image, minor diagonal surface scratch, and a soft crease at lower-left corner; no tears. Solid field portrait with pleasing setting.
