The reverse is clearly maker-marked “ERN. T. SCHNEIDER” along with “LÜDENSCHEID”, identifying production by the wartime firm Ernst Schneider. The hardware features the correct period pin, hinge and catch assembly. The badge exhibits honest age and natural bronze patina, fully consistent with an untouched and authentic example.
