Original WWII German Schutzpolizei des Reichs shoulder strap for a Meister rank. Constructed with silver Russian braid-style edging interwoven with dark brown cords, mounted on bright police green backing cloth.
The green underlay is characteristic of the Schutzpolizei branch of the Ordnungspolizei. The elegant woven construction reflects the senior NCO/Meister grade used within German police formations during the Third Reich period.
The strap remains in very good overall condition with attractive age toning and light period wear. The reverse retains its original green cloth backing, showing honest service use and storage wear consistent with age.
