Original German WWII Gendarmerie (Ordnungspolizei) vehicle pennant, constructed in a triangular shape with a double-sided design. One side features the embroidered green police eagle on matching green fabric, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath and swastika—symbol of the Ordnungspolizei. The reverse shows the black-white-red tricolor, sewn in three distinct diagonal panels.
This type of pennant was used on staff cars or motorcycles by Gendarmerie officers, particularly in rural areas or occupied territories, and served both ceremonial and functional purposes.
Expertly constructed with machine-stitched panels, reinforced edges, and both original mounting cords still attached.
