Description

Original World War II-era German tin for Prima shaving cream, manufactured by ARAWI Werke (A. Rawicki Werke) in Dresden. The round lithographed tin shows its characteristic sunburst design and bold red-and-yellow graphics, with the “Prima” script still visible beneath age wear.
This type of shaving cream container was commonly used by both German civilians and soldiers, often carried in field hygiene kits or found among personal effects in barracks and frontline positions.
The underside exhibits heavy rusting, and the lid no longer opens, but the piece remains structurally intact and displays a classic wartime cosmetic design seldom encountered today.
