An original German WWII photograph depicting an official Deutsche Arbeitsfront (German Labour Front – DAF) award ceremony.
The stage is centered around a large DAF emblem featuring the organization’s distinctive cogwheel surrounding the swastika. Displayed across the front of the stage are numerous Ehrenurkunden (Certificates of Honor) together with additional framed awards presented during the ceremony.
Several officials are seated and standing behind the podium, including one man wearing the brown political uniform of the National Socialist Party. Two framed portraits placed atop the podium further emphasize the ceremonial nature of the event.
This is an excellent period image documenting an official DAF gathering and presentation ceremony rather than a common military snapshot.
Condition
Good original condition. Reverse exhibits heavy album paper remnants and adhesive residue from long-term album mounting. The image itself remains well preserved with good contrast.

Award ceremonies such as this recognized long service, workplace achievements, and contributions to the organization’s goals, making photographs of these events valuable historical records of civilian life under the regime.
