This design was widely used for member and event badges of the NSFK during the late 1930s and early wartime years.
The reverse is marked “GES. GESCH.”, indicating legally protected design, along with the mold or pattern number 8357—both consistent with authentic period production. The original brass pin assembly remains intact, showing natural age toning and correct period soldering.
Surface wear and patina are fully typical of zinc badges over 80 years old, with no signs of modern reproduction.
