Original DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront) gearwheel stickpin featuring the classic cogwheel design with a centrally placed swastika. This example is die-struck in zinc, showing sharp definition in the textured background fields and clean outlines on the gearwheel teeth.
The reverse is RZM-marked “M1/47,” identifying manufacture by Gottlieb Wagner, Idar-Oberstein, a known and officially licensed maker of political insignia. The long round-wire pin remains firmly attached, exhibiting natural age toning and slight bending consistent with genuine period wear.
DAF stickpins served as small membership emblems worn on civilian clothing and are increasingly collected today—especially marked pieces from documented RZM manufacturers. A solid, untouched example.
