The reverse is maker marked Paulmann & Crone, Lüdenscheid – Ges. Gesch., a well-known German manufacturer of badges and insignia during the Third Reich era. The original horizontal pin assembly remains intact. A genuine period piece directly associated with the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, one of the most historically significant events of the era.
Condition:
Good period condition with honest age wear. Enamel remains well preserved with minor surface wear. The reverse shows expected oxidation and patina consistent with age. Pin and catch are intact and functional.
