Original German WWII-era 4-position ribbon bar featuring a classic combination of World War I and interwar/WWII awards.
The first position displays the Hindenburg Cross 1914–1918 for Combatants, complete with crossed swords device. The second ribbon represents the Luftwaffe 4-Year Long Service Medal, fitted with a period eagle device. The third ribbon corresponds to the Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon and features an attached commemorative-style miniature bar. The fourth ribbon appears to represent an additional campaign or allied decoration, likely foreign or associative.
The ribbon bar is period-mounted on grey wool backing with hand stitching and retains its original long pin assembly. All devices show natural age and patina consistent with wartime manufacture.
A very attractive multi-award combination showing a WWI veteran who later served in the Luftwaffe during the Third Reich period.
Condition:
Very good overall condition with light age wear. All devices securely attached.
