Original German WWII Luftwaffe Enlisted Man / NCO Belt Buckle (Koppelschloss), complete with its original leather attachment tab.
The stamped metal buckle features the characteristic Luftwaffe eagle clutching a swastika, surrounded by a wreath on a finely textured background.
The reverse retains the original buckle hardware and its period brown leather tab. Although considerably worn and difficult to read, the manufacturer’s stamp on the leather is consistent with:

Brüder Schneider A.G. of Vienna is a documented manufacturer of German military belt buckles and leather tabs, and other Luftwaffe buckles retaining Schneider-marked 1940 leather tabs are known.
The buckle displays substantial period wear, with most of the original finish now absent and areas of oxidation, discoloration and surface wear throughout. The leather tab shows considerable age and service wear but remains firmly attached, with its original stitching and partially legible 1940 maker marking still visible.
A well-used original Luftwaffe buckle with plenty of period character and the added desirability of its surviving dated leather tab.
