Original German WWII miniature donation booklet entitled “Des Führers Kampf in Norwegen” (The Führer’s Campaign in Norway), issued in connection with the Second War Relief Campaign for the German Red Cross (Zweites Kriegshilfswerk für das Deutsche Rote Kreuz) in 1941.
This miniature booklet formed part of a series of five small campaign booklets distributed by the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (German Red Cross) during its nationwide fundraising collection of August 23–24, 1941.
The series covered the German military campaigns in Norway, Belgium, Holland and France, together with the war at sea. This example is the Norway edition and contains period black-and-white photographic images and accompanying German text documenting the 1940 Norwegian Campaign.
The front cover features German troops and a warship with the title “Des Führers – Kampf in Norwegen,” while the red reverse cover is marked “Zweites Kriegshilfswerk für das Deutsche Rote Kreuz.”
Complete with its original suspension cord, allowing the miniature booklet to be worn or displayed as a donation token.
