Original German 1,000 Mark Reichsbanknote dated September 15, 1922, issued during the Weimar Republic, shortly before the severe hyperinflation crisis of 1923.
The obverse features the denomination “1000,” the Reichsbanknote inscription, official Reichsbank seals, signatures, and a red serial number. The reverse displays an elaborate green ornamental design with the denomination prominently featured.
An interesting piece of German monetary history from the economically turbulent years following World War I.
