Original German Second World War cardboard ammunition box for Pistolenpatronen cartridges. The original factory label remains partially present and the internal cardboard cartridge divider is still intact, a feature often missing from surviving examples.
The interior of the lid displays a faint period inspection or production marking, including what appears to be a handwritten or stamped code along with the number “43”. Such internal factory markings are rarely noticed and add additional character to the piece.
