Original Third Reich-era German Social Welfare Medal (Medaille für deutsche Volkspflege), awarded to individuals who provided outstanding services to the German Red Cross, welfare organizations, or in social work during the Nazi regime.
This medal is constructed in tombak (bronze alloy) and features a German eagle superimposed over a cross on the obverse, with the inscription “Medaille für deutsche Volkspflege” on the reverse. Comes complete with its original red and white striped ribbon, properly folded.
