Original postwar German Bundeswehr Luftwaffe shoulder board, single example, featuring dark blue cloth with silver edge piping and bright golden-yellow branch color backing. The shoulder board is fitted with three silver rank pips and retains its original attachment button and rear retaining tongue.
The yellow Waffenfarbe identifies the Luftwaffe branch within the Bundeswehr. The clean construction and subdued dark blue fabric are typical of early Federal German military insignia from the Cold War era.
