Matching set from the Deutscher Pudel Klub (DPK) – the German Poodle Club – featuring a badge and stickpin issued to members or exhibitors.
The badge is a large circular gilt and silvered piece with a raised, detailed profile of a poodle’s head on a vivid blue enamel background, with the initials “DPK” at the base. It has a textured reverse and a horizontal pinback, still fully functional.
The stickpin features the same blue-and-gold DPK initials, enameled in an oval frame with a floral border. It’s affixed to a classic twisted stickpin stem, unmarked.
This is a civilian club insignia, not military, and reflects the mid-20th-century German tradition of dog breeding associations. Rare to find both items as a set.
