Original World War I postcard published by Raphael Tuck & Sons in their famous Oilette series “Colonial Badges and Their Wearers.” This richly colored card depicts a Canadian infantryman in uniform aiming his rifle from the trenches, with the large regimental badge of Canada prominently displayed above. Artwork by renowned military illustrator Harry Payne.

The reverse describes the Canadian forces and their insignia, noting the maple leaf badge worn on cap and collar. Printed in the United Kingdom, this postcard honored the contribution of Canadian troops during the Great War.
