Offered here is a beautifully preserved 25-Year Faithful Service Cross (Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen 1. Klasse) in its original red leatherette case of issue, marked by the renowned maker C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim.
This silvered Maltese-style cross features a prominent black enamel swastika on the obverse, framed by a laurel wreath. The reverse bears the raised inscription “Für treue Dienste” (For faithful service). The deep blue ribbon remains in excellent condition, complete with its original pin attachment.
The case shows minor edge wear consistent with age, and the lid is adorned with a silver “25” within a cogwheel motif. Interior velvet and felt lining remain clean and intact, and the maker label is neatly affixed inside the lid.
A stunning example for any collector of Third Reich civil awards or period boxed decorations.
