Description:
Original WWII German Army medical pouch made of olive canvas and marked “Gem. Watte” in gothic script, short for “Gemeine Watte” (common cotton wool). These soft fabric pouches were typically issued to Wehrmacht soldiers and used to carry gauze, wound dressings, and cotton bandages.
This particular example features its original tie strings and authentic period wear. The pouch is empty but would have originally held basic medical supplies such as Verbandpäckchen or Wundwatte rolls.
An excellent display piece for any WWII German medical collection or combat field gear setup.
Condition:
Very good, authentic condition. Some expected light wear from age. Markings are clearly legible. No contents inside.
