Original World War II aluminum spoon from the DAF MDA “Schule der Arbeit”, bearing the distinctive cogwheel-and-swastika emblem of the Deutsche Arbeitsfront. The marking “MDA – Sch d A” refers to one of the DAF industrial training schools that prepared workers in metal fabrication and technical trades.
This example shows honest canteen use with light surface wear and subtle age toning typical of wartime aluminum utensils. All markings remain crisp and fully legible. A scarce and desirable piece of Third Reich organizational equipment, seldom encountered compared to standard Wehrmacht or Luftwaffe canteen flatware.
