German WWII Heer BeVo EM/NCO Breast Eagle – Model 1935–1939 (Dark Green).
This is an original early BeVo machine-woven breast eagle manufactured for Heer enlisted men and NCOs (EM/NCO). Woven on the desirable dark green backing, this pattern was introduced in 1935 and remained in use until the transition to feldgrau-backed insignia around 1939–1940.
This example retains crisp woven details with excellent definition and an attractive overall appearance. The original dark green backing remains well preserved, while the reverse displays the characteristic BeVo weave and original folded construction. It shows only honest period wear consistent with age and service.
A fine original early-war Heer breast eagle, well suited for an advanced Wehrmacht insignia collection or a period uniform display.
