Original Third Reich period photographic postcard depicting Hermann Wilhelm Göring, one of the most prominent political and military figures of Nazi Germany and Commander-in-Chief of the Luftwaffe.
The postcard presents a formal profile portrait of Göring wearing a senior Luftwaffe uniform. His distinctive collar insignia, including the Luftwaffe eagle motif, and elaborate shoulder insignia are clearly visible. Several decorations can also be observed, including an Iron Cross 1st Class worn on the lower portion of the uniform.
The reverse carries the printed designation “Echte Fotografie” (“Real Photograph”) in the stamp box and is marked Photo-Hoffmann, München, Friedrichstr. 34, identifying it as a photographic postcard associated with Heinrich Hoffmann’s publishing operation. The card is additionally numbered 035.
The postcard is unused and unmailed, with no postage stamp, postal cancellation, address or period handwritten correspondence present.
