German WWII Heer (German Army) enlisted man and non-commissioned officer (EM/NCO) visor cap insignia, consisting of a brass-colored oak leaf wreath and a separate national cockade mounted in the center.
The wreath features a detailed arrangement of oak leaves and acorns, with raised veins, textured surfaces and a decorative lower binding.
The central national cockade displays the traditional black, white and red colors, with a red fabric center surrounded by concentric silver-colored rings and a black serrated outer edge.
The brass wreath retains an attractive aged patina, with areas of surface oxidation and greenish discoloration consistent with age and storage.
**Condition Note:** The lower attachment prongs on the reverse of the wreath are missing. The central cockade retains its rear attachment hardware. Please examine the reverse photograph carefully.
An attractive example of German Army visor cap insignia, suitable for collectors of WWII German uniform accessories and military headgear.
