An original German WWII Kriegsmarine fire-gilt uniform button featuring the classic fouled anchor emblem within a rope border. The reverse is maker marked “F.L.” along with “IM FEUER VERGOLDET”, identifying the manufacturer as Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid, one of Germany’s best-known wartime producers of military uniform buttons and insignia.
The button retains an attractive original fire-gilt finish with only light age and service wear. The reverse shank remains complete and firmly attached.
