Description

Original Canadian wartime ration book issued to Jean L’Heureux, 925 St. Christopher Road, Montreal, Quebec. Ration Book No.6 with bilingual French and English instructions and a full set of ration coupons (series M, S, and V).

These booklets were issued by the Wartime Prices and Trade Board to manage the civilian supply of food and essential goods during World War II. The interior pages explain how to report a lost or damaged book, update addresses, or return it in case of enlistment or death.

Condition is very good overall, showing light handling wear, corner creases, and mild toning consistent with wartime usage and age. Most coupons appear intact and unused, making this an attractive and complete example.

An authentic piece of Canadian home front history, ideal for collectors of WWII memorabilia, rationing ephemera, or social history artifacts.
