This classic German razor features a polished carbon steel blade stamped “Böntgen & Sabin – Solingen” along with the company’s boot trademark. The tang is marked No. 401 1/4, denoting the blade width.
The razor retains its original cream-colored celluloid scales, secured with three rivets. The blade shows honest age wear with light surface oxidation consistent with storage and use. No major structural damage observed.
A fine example of early 20th century Solingen craftsmanship, ideal for collectors of German edged tools or period grooming implements.
