This is an original, empty photo album from 1936, dedicated to the 12th Machine Gun Company (M.G. Kompanie) of Infantry Regiment 50 (Inf.-Rgt. 50). While the album originally contained photographs, all photos have been removed. It remains an excellent collectible for displaying period photographs or for collectors of German militaria.
- Cover Design: Green hardcover with silver embossed text and an eagle insignia with a swastika. The front reads:
“12. (M.G.) Komp. Inf.-Rgt. 50” along with the year “1936”. - Manufacturer: Marked “Hesse & Becker, Leipzig” on the back cover.
- Binding: Secured with a braided cord in red, black, and white, representing German national colors.
- Interior: Textured pages with photo corner mounts still in place, showing traces of where photographs were once attached.
- Condition: Good for its age, with slight wear on the cover and corners. All photographs have been removed.
