Original WWI-era Canadian badge in the shape of a maple leaf with a King’s Crown and the word “CANADA” prominently displayed across the center. Constructed in copper or bronze, this piece was likely worn either as a collar badge by military personnel or as a sweetheart pin on civilian clothing to show support for enlisted loved ones.
The reverse features a horizontal pin back added in the field or post-war for personal use. Nice patina and wear consistent with age and use.
