Original Canadian Volunteer Service Medal (CVSM), awarded to members of the Canadian forces who voluntarily served on active duty between 3 September 1939 and 1 March 1947. This medal features:

Reverse: Marching figures with the inscription:
“1939 CANADA 1945 VOLUNTARY SERVICE VOLONTAIRE”
The medal is unissued (no bar, no engraving), comes with its original full-length ribbon, and is housed in its issued cream-coloured cardboard box, marked “C.V.S.M.” in blue ink. Original tissue paper included.
