Original WWII-era German medical cotton wool roll (Wundwatte), 50 grams, manufactured by the Chemnitzer Verbandstoff-Fabrik. Wrapped in purple paper with period-typical typography and factory label, this roll was designed in roll form with paper lining for hygienic application. Still secured by its original rubber bands, a rare survival detail.
These rolls were commonly found in Wehrmacht and SS field medic kits and military hospitals across the Reich.
Condition:
Excellent condition. Complete and unopened. Minor aging to packaging. Marked “100%” on rear (100% cotton content).
