Original World War II Hitler Youth (Hitlerjugend) cross strap, featuring its characteristic black leather construction and aluminum hardware.
The strap is fitted with a textured aluminum spring hook, clearly marked “DRGM” (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster), indicating a period German registered design. The hardware retains a nice aged patina, consistent with wartime production.
The leather remains solid and flexible, showing expected wear from age and use. The interior displays natural aging and surface dryness typical of original pieces.
Note: One of the hooks is damaged/bent (see photos). When worn, this section sits toward the rear, making it less visible in display.
A good original example of Hitler Youth field gear, increasingly harder to find with intact hardware and clear markings.
Condition:
Good overall condition. Leather shows age wear and dryness but remains intact. Hardware is complete with visible DRGM marking. One hook is damaged and no longer fully functional.
