German WWII Heer (German Army) officer-style visor cap oak leaf wreath and national cockade, consisting of two separate components.
The wreath features detailed silver-colored metallic bullion embroidery depicting traditional German oak leaves and acorns, carefully worked onto a dark cloth backing.
The embroidery displays a raised, three-dimensional appearance, with individually defined leaves, veins and decorative details.
The reverse reveals the embroidery threads and cloth construction, showing age-related discoloration, loose threads and evidence of previous handling.
Accompanying the wreath is a separate metal national cockade featuring a red fabric center, silver-colored circular detailing and a black fluted outer border.
The cockade retains its rear attachment fittings, as illustrated in the photographs.
**Please note:** The cockade is not attached to the wreath. Both components are offered together in their present condition.
An attractive pair of German Army officer-style visor cap insignia components, suitable for display or a uniform insignia collection.
