The badge features the classic vertical sword within an oak leaf wreath, with a central swastika, symbolizing the German National Veterans’ Association following its reorganization under the Third Reich.
The reverse is marked with the Deschler & Sohn trademark together with the RZM code M1/52, confirming production by one of Germany’s premier insignia manufacturers.
Although the original pin is missing, this remains a desirable maker-marked example from one of the best-known Third Reich badge manufacturers.
Condition
