Original silver-gelatin real photo postcard with scalloped edges, approximately 9 × 13.5 cm. Three-quarter studio portrait of a Kriegsmarine sailor in dark jumper and cap with readable “Kriegsmarine” tally; breast eagle present. Reverse with postcard layout, numeric print code “89414,” and a pink studio stamp “Photoanstalt …, Mariazell” (partially legible). Condition: excellent—clean surface with only light handling and a faint natural paper curl; no tears or creases. Strong, high-contrast naval portrait ideal for KM collections.
