Original WW2 German Luftwaffe armband used by ground crew and airfield personnel. Constructed of yellow cotton and printed in black with the Luftwaffe eagle clutching a swastika above the inscription “DEUTSCHE LUFTWAFFE”.
This is the scarce printed variant worn by non-combat support staff, mechanics, and flight-line workers on Luftwaffe bases. The armband is sewn into a complete loop as issued, with the characteristic central rear seam and period machine stitching. The cotton shows natural age toning, small stains, and pigment penetration consistent with wartime printing methods.
